Halloween is celebrated on October 31. It has its roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holy day of ‘All Saints Day’. It is largely a secular celebration but some Christians and pagans have expressed strong feelings about its religious overtones. The day is consociated by most with the colours orange and black and is strongly associated with symbols such as the jack-o’-lantern (a pumpkin carved out in the shape of a face).

Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, wearing Halloween costumes, ghost tours, bonfires, costume parties, visiting haunted attractions, carving jack-o’-lanterns, scaring people, reading scary stories and watching horror movies.

Halloween is also the ideal time to let the child inside you come to the fore and let your imagination loose. Halloween costumes are undoubtedly the most fun part of this festival.

Sexy Costumes to Wear for Halloween

These are a list of some costumes that I have seen people wear at a few parties. Some of these might be a little over the top but if you want to have some fun and be carefree for one night out of the year and you’re still deciding on what to wear to the upcoming Halloween party, then take a moment to read through this list.  You may even want to mix and match a few.

1.    Playboy Bunny – You’ve probably seen these costumes before.  I have seen some women wear the bunny nose which in my opinion should be left out.  The outfit itself is **** and the nose just kind of kills it.  It reminds me of a scene in the movie I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry where Adam Sandler sees who he has mistaken as Jessica Biel in a bunny outfit but when she turns around, it’s David Spade!  Blah!  No offense to David Spade!

2.    French Maid – Now this is hot!  I’ve seen a couple of women wear this and this is definitely an eye catcher.  There seems to be different version of this costume but my favorite seems to be the one that isn’t fluffy at the skirt.  I’m not sure what the correct terminology is but there are the maid outfits that are short and flare out.  The shortness is fine but the flaring seems a bit too much.

3.    Jane – Tarzan’s fair maiden.  If you are attending an indoor Halloween party, then you shouldn’t have any problems with this outfit.  I’ve seen a lot of different versions of this costume and all of them looked amazing!  I knew a friend who put on a bikini and tucked in some brown felt material around her top and bottom and looked just like she came out of the jungle!

4.    Nurse – If you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all but I think the best nurse outfits are the ones that resemble the old nurse’s uniforms with the hat and dress in high heels.  The leather outfits are **** but a little played out for my taste. 

5.    Indian (Native) – Theses are the Pocahontas type costumes with a single feather protruding from the head band.  Short p/leather material skirts and tops, an Indian necklace, moccasins, arm band, and bracelets and you’re good to go!

6.    Indian (Bollywood) – This style has been seen more frequently and quite frankly, I think that they’re **** as well as elegant and beautiful. They have the little dot on their foreheads (bindi), a midriff top, silky loose pants, high heels, with a long scarf which I believe to be called a Sari wrapped loosely around their shoulders.  I’ve seen these outfits mixed with a little Western style and it looks beautiful.

7.    Flight Attendant – I’ve only seen one of these costumes at a party and it looked HOT! The little hat, coat, with a button up shirt that is not necessarily buttoned up, short skirt, and high heels…need I say more?

8.    Mafiosa – I’ve seen this pulled off a couple of different ways.  The outfits are supposed to portray the way the gangsters looked during the 1920’s. One woman had a full striped suit with slacks, high heels, and a very **** shirt underneath her coat, a fake Tommy gun, and the distinctive hats they wore back in those days.  The other outfit was similar only with a loose skirt, high boots, a long coat, the hat, and a fake Tommy gun.  Both were very hot.

9.    Police – I generally wouldn’t add this to my list except for the fact that I saw this one women in Vegas during a costume party and she had on a realistic looking police uniform, badge, fake gun (at least I think it was), holster, belt, cuffs, and here hair was slicked back and tied up in a bun.  Her shirt was a bit revealing and I think the fact that the costume appeared so realistic as opposed to those played out pleather police skirts you see so often, made it so attractive.

10.    Polynesian Girl – What many refer to as a Hula Dancer. This can be pulled off a couple of different ways. First method includes a grass skirt or sarong, coconut top or bikini top, a flower lei, and haku lei (the one that goes on the head).  The second method involves wearing a Hawaiian dress of sorts, and haku lei. The second is bit more conservative depending on the dress but still ****.

The girls were going to wear the costumes they had last year. Now it was time to take care of the grown ups halloween fun. With the party we were planning, we had to have special costumes. My mom promised to keep the kids after they go trick or treating so we could have the rest of the evening to celebrate with our friends. The shops around town had some really super costumes but they were just a little too expensive. Since we are only gonna wear it for one night, I don’t want to spend too much on them. I also felt bad that the girls couldn’t get new costumes. With the prices they wanted we didn’t think it would be possible to buy all of us new costumes. I thought about renting a couple of costumes for me and him, but that wasn’t very cheap either.

So, I got the bright idea of looking for halloween costumes and accessories online. Am I happy I did. I found some super deals on kids and adult halloween costumes. The prices were really exceptional. There were all kinds of super costumes for the kids. They are so excited that they won’t have to wear last years stuff. Every time they look through the pages they found a different costume they like better. I know it’s hard to decide when you have so much to choose from.

I turned my sister on to this website for costumes for her family. They also have some super halloween decorations and accessories I can use for our party. Everyone thought the family dog, or should I say dinosaur, was so cute. We put all the costumes away right after we took a family photo of us all dressed up. All the costumes for my sister and her family came from the online store I bought ours at. They were also surprised at the great selection and the low prices. With four kids to buy for, this online costume shop really helped out.

We decided to get our party accessories and decorations from them too. There was a door cover with blood dripping with the words do not enter on it. Then we bought some things for the party, like streamers, eyeballs, spiders etc. Everything is ready for our halloween bash and our little trick or treaters are all set up too. Problem deciding which costume you want for Halloween this year?

 It really can be that hard choosing the right costume?

With Halloween only a few weeks away, most people will just leave it until the last few days. And some people really do leave it literally until the last minute. My friend’s daughter is absolute murders for this, she always leaves it until, me and my kids are at their door on Halloween night.

By that time it’s well too late.

So I’d like to make a suggestion? Halloween is just around the corner so why not dress up as a medieval knight? Now if doesn’t matter if your male or female, and I must say ladies, you man will love the women’s medieval costumes available.

Theirs a variety of medieval clothing around in the market place and most don’t even consider this type of costume. Back in the old days, it was a lot different back then, well almost. That time in history was filled with wars, violence and real chaos. And amongst all that chaos there were some awesome costumes and attire. 

Could you imagine if you turn up at a Halloween party in a medieval costume with full battle gear on? Just thinking about it would be a real jaw dropper. Ladies at that time were great warriors and some of the costumes today reflect that and have a **** element also. I can almost guarantee that no one will be wearing this type of costume, just show up to the party and see. 

I convinced the wife to wear a woman’s knights’ costume last year at my friends Halloween bash. She was absolutely stunning, and without a shadow of doubt the most beautiful woman at the party, other women were commenting about how gorgeous she looked. Most of them looked around for costumes, but like what most us do is go and get what’s popular in the market place. 

Thing to remember is you need to want to be usual. When we searched online, we just wanted to be unique. Some of the costumes were really expensive, but amongst the pricey costumes there were some real great looking and well priced costumes. You can get a costume for $69. It’s not the real deal, but it’s as authentic as you can get and the beauty of buying your own costume is that you can use it again and again. So as long as your not going to a party with the same group of friends then your be ok. 

You can also find great weaponry at many online stores. Shopping for a Halloween costume has never been easier with the ease of having the internet to hand, time has really moved on from the bad old days of over priced, and hard to find Halloween costume shops .

The guest’s are welcomed with a traditional Romanian drink prepared especially for the cold season – a shot of Romanian “water of fire” boiled with pepper will increase the interest in the delicious mouth-watering traditional dishes prepared for the Halloween party. The Master of Ceremony, one of Dracula’s many subjects, will introduce the guests to the programme of the evening making sure every one will meet his fate! 

 

   The first event you’ll enjoy is performed by the Transylvanian Knights. The “Witch Trial” will reveal the medieval rituals of judgment for a witch testing the courage of the guests. Should anyone dare to handle the sword and fight along with the knights to save the damned woman, will be anointed as a knight. 

 

  There can be no Halloween Party without Dracula; the Count will simply not tolerate such a thing! His majesty will join you and even make a few confessions about his wedding. “Dracula’s Wedding” is a show set on stage by a professional band of actors. This is a non verbal performance. It’s very easy to understand that Dracula did not need words to charm a girl. The first time they met he appeared as a respectable noble, the second meeting revealed his true dark nature… Find out if the story has a happy ending. 

 

   Since we’re all very familiar with dramas, we’ll then focus on having a fabulous time, and water better way to do this than dancing! A band of folk singers performing live at traditional Romanian instruments will introduce the guests to the gypsy rhythm as well as the melodious and cheerful Romanian songs. The traditional “Scarf dance” will bring everyone to the dancing floor!  

 

   Close to midnight will all step out to watch the moon and count down the minutes to 12 o’clock, a time of powerful magic when all bad wishes come true! (let’s just say that your neighbours’ cat won’t bother you anymore). A glass of champagne and the traditional Rest in Peace song will delight us afterwards.  

 

   The culinary event of the evening is the Halloween cake, shaped as a coffin and delicious as fresh blood. This might just be the first coffin you have tried and you will like it!

 

   The Count’s witch will be at your disposal. She’ll open her office for you to be able to purchase After Life Insurances (something will know for sure you will use!)

 

   The Master of Ceremony will reword the ones who really did their best for the Halloween Costumes! The Best Female and Male Costumes will receive awards (Romanian genuine handcrafts to remember you of this incredible night). The Count has also a gift prepared for the Best Howl at the Moon (after a glass of strong red wine boiled with cinnamon you won’t lack courage or strength!)

 

   The DJ will then take over the party! Devilish dancing to the dawn. The last person standing will receive a bottle of wine courtesy of the house and Romanian tips on how to handle the hang over.
